I don't brew beer, but I do make apple pie. It usually ends up in the 40-50 proof range by my math, depending on potency of the local apple cider I obtain.

I will donate 4 pint jars of my first batch of the season to the first 4 FITH members that dominate me on the FITH server starting Sunday night at 8EST (no promises if I'll be on then or not).

I ship a lot of things through ebay, but does anyone have any tips on getting glass jarred beverages through the USPS system?

oh geez, they'll be gone in no time.

there are several ways to bottle. the easiest way would probably to get a capper and some caps. just reuse a beer bottle that's been cleaned out. mason jars probably wouldn't be very secure but they might hold up. if you're shipping more than one vessel, make sure they're secured to eachother with tape so they don't clink. use plenty of bubble wrap. wouldn't hurt to seal them in a ziplock or something in case they do leak.

Ouch. hahaha. The trick is catching me on then dominating while I'm there :D

I can them in mason jars. I add the alcohol while it is still warm and warm the jars up for a natural vacuum canning. Then I let them sit for a week or two inside the house to mellow out. Drink warm or cold. I wasn't sure with best methods for shipping. I'll probably just wrap in bubble wrap and/or use packing peanuts in a priority box.

Getting on in a few minutes. This most likely will be limited to members in the states, not sure how unlabeled goods would go across borders.

Just write "Definitely not a bomb" on the outside of the box. I'm sure it will be fine.
