Is there a possibility to insert pictures directly (without a link to click)
    from Google Drive?

I also tried Imgur but I was not impressed by the picture quality
even with their hi-res setting activated.

The goal of this poll will be to keep the answer "Yes" to zero
    for all the members.

Try to not forget to change a "Yes" to a "No"
when you don't have any question & difficulty.

    Thank you in advance everyone.

Google deprecated hosting content (images, etc.) from Drive a while back.

Curious, what about Imgur didn't work for you? I was going to post a little guide to using it to link pictures, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Imgur states the non-animated file limit is 20 MB, which, for a compressed file like a JPEG, you could easily get to 4000x4000 or higher depending on how close to lossless you wanted.

Reddit has a list of Imgur alternatives, and one that stands out to me is https://imgrpost.com/ - looks like a 120 MB limit, and no resizing. I'd still make an account so I can delist images later, but does this check more of your boxes? Not sure what your featureset is.

I'm also curious about this, I've been using imgur for years and never noticed any problem with image quality.

I was doubting myself for a moment there!
I realize that TF2 screenshots from Steam are JPEG only...

...and I was using screenshot directly from the desktop environnement (KDE Plasma)
via his program Spectacle that saves screenshots in PNG..!

Maybe that's why I was seing a difference between the PNGs and the converted JPEGs...
Anyway I started using F12 more often only to get the pictures directly on Steam for the FITH forum.

First time posting on a forum + starting to use F12 + Linux habits = this thread.

I'm sorry about asking the question from a misundertood but having The Broodwich's technical answer was worth it!

I'm changing my "Yes" to a "No" now.

P.S. I'm starting to get tired of using the word I to start a sentences.

This forum software requires a direct link to an image (right click, view image) rather than a link to a page that has the image. When you have the direct hotlink, hit the button next to the emoticon (NOT smileys or fucking emojis) face and insert the link for the popup. Or you could do (with brackets not curly braces) {IMG}url{/IMG}, but again you need a direct link. Drive doesn't let you hotlink anymore and will not work as intended.

    Thank you
    I'm officially up to date.
I was thinking maybe that forums had evolve on the picture posting side...
...then I know that's impossible using Google Drive.
